Situated in an area designated to be of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’, Parc Venton is a charming holiday cottage in Ruan Minor at the top of the hill that leads down into Cadgwith Cove, Cornwall. With off-road parking immediately opposite, sea glimpses from all the bedrooms and exposed beams throughout, Parc Venton makes a lovely base from which to enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery.
Entered through the large sunny porch with seating for two and a coffee table, leading into the internal hallway with space to hang your coats. The well-equipped galley style kitchen includes washing machine, electric oven and 4-ring hob, fridge, and microwave. Stainless steel pans and ‘Cornish Blue’ crockery complete the theme. A door leads from the kitchen to the useful veranda area, with a tumble dryer and is a great area for storing body boards, wet suits or even bikes.
The lovely dining room continues the ‘Cornish Blue’ theme, with its ornamental open fireplace and dining table and chairs for six people – a lovely light space to enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal. There is also a pay telephone. The cosy lounge has two, two seater sofas and a single armchair, ornamental fireplace, CD micro system and a flatscreen LCD TV with DVD player. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, matching handbasin, electric shaver point and mirror. There is a separate toilet.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms, all with sea glimpses. Bedroom one is a double room with 4'6" double bed, bedside table and light, dressing table and a double wardrobe. Bedroom two has twin 3’ single beds, bedside table and lamp, bookshelf, chest and a double wardrobe. Bedroom three is a large single room with bedside table and lamp, built-in wardrobe and plenty of space for a cot.
Outside there is a small enclosed garden to the front with a picnic bench, off-road parking is available just over the lane for one or two cars. Heating throughout is by electric storage radiators. Rental includes bedlinen, electricity, high chair and cot, if required (linen not provided). Regret no pets and no smoking.
