Lavender Cottage offers the traditional feel of slate floors and beamed ceilings coupled seamlessly with the modern benefits of underfloor heating and double glazing. Situated just a short walk from the world famous tall ships’ harbour, two or three good eating pubs and a choice of major supermarkets just a couple of minutes away in the car.
From the spacious gravelled driveway the property is entered into the large open-plan ground floor. The warmth and character is immediately evident, as is the quality, with the slate tiled floor and granite work surfaces of the kitchen area, complemented by the integrated appliances. The kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, double electric oven with 4-ring electric induction hob and a separate 2-ring gas burner with extractor over.

There is a ground floor cloakroom and also a dining area which has a table and chairs for four people. Double doors offer lots of light and lead out to the terraced back garden with lower and upper patio areas with decking area. Outside there is also a large shed, perfect for storing bikes and surfboards etc.
Upstairs are the bedrooms and main bathroom. Bedroom one is a large double room with a 4'6" double bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table with mirror and stool and a double wardrobe. Bedroom two is a twin bedroom with two 3' single beds bedside tables and lamp and a separate chest of drawers. The family bathroom continues the theme of high quality fittings and includes a newly fitted bathroom suite consisting of a bath with shower over and matching toilet and handbasin. The washing machine is also in a separate cupboard in the bathroom.
Rental includes bedlinen, towels, central heating, electricity and gas. One dog is permitted by prior arrangement at £25 per week. Regret No Smoking.
