120 ACRES WITH FITNESS TRAIL
This Scandinavian style ‘A’ frame detached Lodge is part of the prestigious Clowance Estate and Country Club, now declared a five star ‘Seasons’ resort. Offering well-equipped, comfortable accommodation with its own sauna and Jacuzzi bath, as well as access to all of the resort’s facilities including indoor heated pool, solarium, gymnasium, tennis, golf, fishing, boating, bar and restaurants with nightly entertainment. Guests also have access to the estate’s 120 acre site with its beautiful woodland walks and fitness trail.
Entered from the hallway into the open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A washing machine is located in a separate utility room.
The lounge/diner consists of dining table and chairs for six people, comfortable seating for six, coffee table, CD player, flat screen TV (with freeview equivalent. Internet access is also available through the TV at extra cost). Large sliding doors give access to a private patio with views down the lawns towards the lake.
Bedroom one is en suite and has a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps and fitted wardrobes. En suite bathroom has Jacuzzi bath, with matching toilet and handbasin. Bedroom two has twin 3’t single beds with bedside tables and lamps and wardrobes. Bedroom three is the gallery bedroom, with twin 2’6” beds and chest of drawers, more suitable for children. The family shower room has access to the sauna, separate shower cubicle and matching toilet and handbasin.
Rental includes bedlinen, towels and heating. The bedlinen and towels are changed weekly on Saturday and the lodge cleaned throughout. Cots and high chairs are available for free, please advise if required at time of booking. Most facilities are included in the rental and available from reception. There is a small charge for some facilities such as racket hire and green fees are payable for the golf (the course having achieved amateur status in its own right).
