Trevean

Trevean is a perfectly positioned bungalow with hillside views over the sea and bay below, just a short walk to Coverack's beach and village centre. The all on one level accommodation is perfect for up to four guests, recently refurbished to a high standard and with year round comfort thanks to the central heating and woodburner.

Coverack is tucked into the eastern side of the Lizard Peninsula’s rugged coastline, this pretty fishing village is dotted with white cottages and thatched roofs spread around the crescent shaped bay. At one end a harbour gives shelter to small fishing boats that come and go with the catch of the day, whilst cafes and shops offer essential beach items including buckets, spades and fishing nets for a classic day down on the sand.

The sweeping driveway offers space for 2-3 cars, entered from the rear door into the open-plan kitchen living room, with a balconied patio at the front and the sea views beyond. The kitchen spans the width of the room and features a central island with a dining area to one side, this is an excellent social space, but is also well-equipped for cooking meals that can be enjoyed both at the table or out on the patio. There's an oven with 4-ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, kettle and toaster.

The living area centres around a built-in woodburner with a wall-mounted TV above, the sofa and chairs are perfect for relaxing by the fire on a cool evening, or when the sun is shining 'throw open' the bi-fold doors and let the sea air flow in. Outside the bi-folds is a wide, glass-fronted, patio which soaks up the sun and features outdoor furniture for alfresco dining as well as sunbathing.

A central hallway separates the bedrooms and family bathroom from the living area. The master bedroom is at the front of the house benefiting from a picture like sea view, so even from the bed you can admire the sunrise over the sea! The bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers. There is hanging space in the hall cupboard for clothes.

The second bedroom has zip & link twin beds, offering flexibility, these can be made up as separate singles or together as a super king-size bed (please select your preference when booking). This room also has bedside tables with lamps and a hanging rail for longer garments.

In between the two bedrooms is the family bathroom which features a bath with mixer shower over, toilet, handbasin with mirror over and heated towel rail.

A further garden of lawn, trees and shrubs wraps around from the rear of the bungalow and down one side, though this area is sloped in places and has a low retaining wall - caution should be exercised if exploring and children must be supervised at all times (please see images).
