Gwella Chons (‘Good luck’ in Cornish) is a comfortable annexe to a large house in a very convenient location.  Situated just half a mile from Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth and with its own beautifully kept garden, terrace area and off-road parking.  Falmouth town centre is just a 10 minute walk away and offers some of the most quaint Cornish streets and shops alongside one of the world’s largest and  most famous harbours.  There is always something happening in the town, either large cruise liners approaching the docks or festivals and celebrations in ‘Events Square’.  If all that sounds a bit energetic you can simply soak up the atmosphere in one of the harbour-side cafes.  Gyllyngvase beach is Falmouth’s most famous sandy beach and is just a 10 minute walk down the hill.  Other attractions such as The Eden Project are easily accessible and less than an hour car journey.
The property is entered from the garden into the spacious living and kitchen area.  The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, 2-ring hob with extractor over and microwave with a grill facility.  There is no oven.  The lounge has a large three seater sofa, widescreen TV with VHS and freeview, ornamental fireplace and double sliding door onto a sunny patio.
A few stairs lead from the lounge up to a landing area with the second shower room, which has a shower cubicle with mixer shower over, matching toilet, bidet and handbasin with vanity unit.  A further few stairs lead along a hallway to the bedroom which also has a shower room en suite.  The bedroom is a twin room with two, 3’ single beds, bedside tables and lamps and a large wardrobe.  The newly refurbished en suite shower room has a double size shower cubicle with powerful mixer shower over, matching toilet and handbasin with shaver point over.
The garden has a sunny outlook and is for your personal use with two small seating areas.  Off-road parking is available for one vehicle. Rental includes bedlinen and electricity.  There is central heating in the hall, bathroom and bedroom.  The Lounge area has an oil-fired electric radiator, and a large open fireplace for winter use.  The owner lives in the other part of the house which is locked off completely from the holiday apartment.  Regret no smoking and no pets.
