Harbourside Cottage in Falmouth, Cornwall enjoys a commanding position above the town with panoramic views across the harbour, the famous docks and out to the sailing waters of Carrick Roads. The stunning views are available from all of the front facing windows including both bedrooms, the lounge and the dining area. A short (steep in parts) walk will take you straight down onto the famous cobbled high street with glimpses of the water in between its mix of bespoke individual shops and national retailers like Marks & Spencer. Not forgetting the plethora of cafés and restaurants. Completely refurbished, refurnished and extended, the property offers very high quality accommodation for up to four people.
Harbourside Cottage is the middle in a terrace of three properties on a private terrace that has the added benefit of not fronting directly onto a road. Entered into the lounge-diner the quality is apparent immediately. Comfortably furnished with a leather suite, large screen LCD TV with Freeview, DVD player, iPod dock, and a coffee table. A dining table and four chairs complete this wonderfully light room with the magnificent views available from both windows. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob with extractor over, microwave, fridge and separate freezer. There is a ground floor toilet off the kitchen and a door that leads to the small back patio with table and chairs provided.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom one (fantastic sea views) has a 5’ King-size bed, bedside tables and lamps and a double wardrobe. The en suite shower room has a double size shower cubicle with mixer shower over, matching toilet and handbasin with mirror and shaver point. Bedroom two (fantastic sea views) has two 3’ single beds, bedside table and lamps and a double wardrobe. The second bathroom is across the hallway and has bath with mixer shower over, matching toilet and handbasin with mirror and shaver point.
Rental includes bedlinen, towels, electricity, central heating (when needed) and parking space. Regret no pets and no smoking. The nominated parking space is down in front of the cottage approximately 50 metres from the door. Children under the age of ten years old will unfortunately not be accepted.
