We've just come back from a week here...It's a really gorgeous place.The owners are very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended!!
We've been to Cornwall for more than ten times so far but this has been the most beautiful and best-equipped accommodation we've ever had! We enjoyed our stay at this wondeful cottage very very much. The warm welcome when we arrived late at night and the romantic atmosphere made us feel at home immediately. This is definitely the best holiday home we've ever stayed in. As we love cooking we found the kitchen perfectly equipped - definitely unusual for holiday homes. We also loved our walks down at Gwithian beach - gorgeous! We will recommend it to our friends and hopefully we'll be able to come back again!! - Via in-property guestbook
What a wonderful find! The weather, the cottage, the hospitality of David and Judith made this holiday so special. The location of the Bowjy is fabulous for all tastes, spectacular coastal walks, easy to get to St Ives and local beaches. The cottage itself is equipped with everything you need and more.5*plus
Cannot recommend highly enough. Newly converted and beautifully fitted out. Great base for exploring the surrounding area - lovely and peaceful. We were really lucky with the weather, so were able to sit outside in the lovely garden. Judith and David were always on hand if we wanted anything, and keen for us to share our views. Dog had a fabulous time too - even had some doggie treats in our welcome pack, which was a lovely touch.
Come rain or shine, and we had both, if you want somewhere to stay in West Cornwall which has all your home comforts then this is for you. In all our years of holidays in France and Cornwall we have never enjoyed a property so much.rnThe welcome pack provided by David & Judith ( the owners) was a delight and totally unexpected.rnIf you are lucky enough to discover this cottage on this site then our advice is to book without delay.rn
The Bowjy is very cosy, comfortably furnished and thoughtfully equipped. It is ideal for just relaxing in, or as a base for exploring the beautiful Cornish coastline, so much of which is within easy driving distance. We had a great week walking the cliffs and visiting Trerice and St. Michaels"s Mount.
