We had a lovely relaxing time in Caernarvon Cottage. Wonderful warm and cosy . Lots of coves to visit, all very magical. - Via in-property guestbook
It feels really sad writing this, ,as we didn't want to leave! We briefly considered changing the locks and squatting. You can probably tell we love this place. We've had a lovely week with great weather, enjoyed some nice walks. Molly and Lenny have had great fun running on the beaches! We seem to have put on a few pounds though, with all the pastys and cream teas. We also enjoyed horse riding at the Newton stables and the Monday folk night at the top house. Thanks for a lovely week, hope to be back again. - Via in-property guestbook
Thank you very much, had a most enjoyable time. The cottage was very comfy, cosy, warm and rosey. - Via in-property guestbook
We have had a wonderful week here on the Lizard & our stay in this beautiful cottage. We are very impressed with the cleanliness & decor of this cottage, we will definitely be coming back. This is our second time down on the Lizard, we first came five years ago & stayed at Henry's campsite which we loved, but now with a toddler & on our honeymoon we upgraded our tent to this gorgeous cottage & it was worth it, especially as the weather has been a mix of rain , strong winds, but there has been a couple of days of sunshine, but there is lots to do what ever the weather. Thank you and we hope tombe back soon. - Via in-property guestbook
Yet another wonderful stay - cottage to the usual high standard. Weather generally good - few light showers - cool at times with wind - did not spoil the enjoyment. - Via in-property guestbook
Fantastic holiday cottage with lots of historic detail regarding the cottage. Very comfortable enjoyable stay. Lots of lovely walks. Did cycle to Helston then on to Porthleven, back via costal path (with bikes) via Mullion. Hard work took several hours, lovely scenery. Really enjoyed the pint in the Top House pub when we finally got back. Slept really well following that. We had a great holiday. Thank you. - Via in-property guestbook
This is our first time at Caernarvon Cottage and we have loved our stay. The cottage is beautiful and full of lovely things. The village is lovely and the cafe down by the Lizard point was such a wonderful place to eat lunch. Having the board games was great, and despite being a party of adults we loved playing them, especially Kerplunk! After getting a leaflet re fishing with our booking we spent a great day on the "Blue Pointer" with Dan catching mackerel, cod & haddock. And then had a great time bbqing them on the beach at Kynance. We had a great time visiting holiday haunts from the past like Kynance Cove , Mullion, & Church Cove and the surrounding area. Thanks for a fab trip. - Via in-property guestbook
A lovely stay in a comfortable cottage made better by a week of hot weather. We enjoyed the proximity to Kynance Cove and Kennack Sands for swimming and walks across the fields to Cadgwith for fresh fish and crab. We also enjoyed walking back from Mullion to Kynance on wetter days especially because of the wild ponies. Thank you for a great time and we hope to be back soon. - Via in-property guestbook
Beautiful cottage with interesting historic detail, very comfortable home from home! Weather typically English, bright sunshine, windy to the other end of the spectrum, rain & fog - so we got to hear the foghorn. Lovely coastal walks, that our 2 dogs Dylan & Mondy enjoyed, as did we. Enjoyed an atmospheric evening with Morris dancers at the Witch Ball to finish off our quickly ending holiday week. Thank You. - Via in-property guestbook
Have had a lovely week, lovely cottage very clean & cosy must be our 50th year on the Lizard and we will be back again hopefully to retire in a few years time! Super meal at the Witch Ball, thank you to Claire, Ollie, Shelley & Jake for that, would probably passed it by if not for you! Had a super evening meal & the mussells at lunch time were just fab! Weather mixed but we didnn't mind just so pleased and happy to be back on the Lizard, walking every where and being in such a very nice cottage .... Thank you. If you like beer, try the "Witch Ball Special" brewed just round the corner. Russell. - Via in-property guestbook
What a wonderful week we have had here. Fabulous cottage, with all home comforts. This was our first stay on the Lizard and it certainly won't be our last. Thank you so much Lisa for looking after the cottage so well. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere so clean! - Via in-property guestbook
Had a wonderful holiday, We thought the cottage was beautiful and more than we could of expected. It has been a brilliant, warmly place to stay especially with a dog and a young child. We would recommend The Witch Ball for food. Both pubs are welcoming and accept dogs and children day & night. The Coast coffee shop is lovely for a Cornish Cream Tea! Lots of coastal paths for long doggie walks with breath taking sceneries. We would definitely come back! - Via in-property guestbook
We decided to do something different this christmas so headed for Lizard. The cottage was superb in every way, it was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. We have decided we will be coming back in the future. We had some amazing walks with the dog and some of the views are breathtaking. Thank you - Via in-property guestbook
Lovely cottage, lots of character. Great location for a chilled out holiday with lots of walking for the 3 of us. Our first stay in this cottage, but the latest of many holidays on the Lizard, Just confirmed why we keep coming back here year after year and Tony did not wnat to leave, think Badger really liked it here too (that's the dog)! We love the walk to Kynance & then to Lizard Point. Refreshments at both are great especially the fresh crab! Fish & Chip shop do a great takeout. We went to the beaches at Kennack Sands, Praa Sands, Hayle, Porthcurno and Sennan Cove - all great walks. - Via in-property guestbook
Cottage beautifully appointed. We were very lucky with the weather all except one day. Loved the age and character of the building plus a bit of the background about it. - Via in-property guestbook
We've had a really lovely holiday. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy - we settled in straight away! Had lots of fantastic walks and really enjoyed exploring the Lizard - we only used the car twice during our stay! We were very lucky with the weather - didn't need our coats at all and we even managed to tire Millie (the dog) out! Thanks for a lovely time. - Via in-property guestbook
