Another great holiday-Ivy Cottage is a real home from home. A pleasure to arrive after a long journey - must move in, unpack and the holiday starts. Nice to meet Beatrice this time (thanks very much for preparing the cottage and for the appetising 'welcome tray' and lovely flowers) and Michael as well. 11 - 18 Oct, Angie and Keith, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts

Perfect holiday home. Spent a week walking the cliff top paths, visiting local attractions - the ice crease farm was a favourite - and eating pasties. Day family, Prestwood, Bucks 23-30/8/08

Our third holiday at Ivy Cottage. I think this is the best self-catering property we have found. Will we ever want to stop staying here and spending our days at Kynance? No! Carson family, Cheltenham. 26 May 2007

30 years of renting cottages and this has to be the best! Every comfort is catered for and so a delight to return to after a days walking. Local butcher provided excellent meat and the pastie shop fulfilled all our expectations. Russell family, South Wales. 21.7.07

In previous years we have spent some time on the Lizard but could not have chosen a more ideal base for our walking holiday than Ivy Cottage. From the first we have felt quite at home here, it was clean, spacious and welcoming. It has made our holiday even more enjoyable. Beal family, Womborne, Staffs

Yet another week staying on the Lizard but the first visit to Ivy Cottage. A lovely cottage in an ideal spot for exploring the surrounding area. Our favourite walk - Church Cove - Lizard point and on to Kynance, with stops in our two favourite eateries - Polpeor cafe and Kynance cafe! Alternative walk - Ann's pasty shop-Kynance-Lizard. Weather superb for October, only one wet day. Wonderful welcombe platter, much appreciated after our long journey. Lovely, well tended gardens, they must look a picture in summer. Pty we missed the agapanthus! 10 o'clock, got to go - wish we had another week! Back soon Michelle and Paul Williams and family, Appleby Magna 18-25 October 2008.
