Tregonoggy - Lizard

Had a great time at the Lizard and the weather was incredible for the time of year - loads of sun! We've stayed here before, but the improvements to the layout downstairs made a lot of difference ... We hope to be back again soon. - Via in-property guestbook

A fantastic stay in a lovely cottage! Great garden, lovely rooms (some bumped heads!). Visited Kynance, Kennack, Poldhu, Church Cove (Gunwalloe), Lizard Point, St Ives, Heligan. Our second summer in Cornwall (stayed in Ruan in 2010). Will return again soon. (Left a couple of books to add to the fantastic collection!) - Via in-property guestbook

What a fabulous cottage! We loved our morning coffee and paper in the beautiful garden which gave us great pleasure. A good base to explore. Lovely walk via the 'double hedge!' to Caerthillian bay and Pentreath. Cadgwith always a treat. Fish BBQ (interesting!).Was lovely staying in the village and our children especially loved the proximity of the shops! Kynance an absolute must. It still takes the breath away! ... 2nd time at Tregonoggy. Would like to take it home with me, including the garden. The gardens in Lizard all look fabulous, seemingly without effort. A lovely cottage and a great week on the Lizard. We come to the Lizard often, but it's nice to stay in the village. We love the Top House, so this is great for us. It would be nice if we could come back to this cottage again some time. Thanks for a lovely holiday. - Via in-property guestbook

We have had many holidays on the Lizard Peninsula but found being in Lizard Village very convenient for the gorgeous walks and local amenities ... We had a wonderful stay at Tregonoggy and enjoyed seeing our first badgers in the garden in the night. We have previously stayed in Mullion but will definitely be back to the Lizard again! The Top House were extremely hospitable and even delivered a couple of plates of food to us one night as we have young children and didn't want to eat out. We spent a great time here in Lizard Point and especially in this beautiful and charming cottage. The people, the food, the countryside, the sea - everything was great and we fell in love with this piece of earth. Special thanks from Nora and Wolfgang who spent their 26th wedding anniversary here. By the way, we also liked the weather, although it was pretty unsettled. We have been coming to Lizard for several years now, so we know the place fairly well. This is the first time in this cottage. We have been very comfortable once we got used to the low front door. The cottage is utterly charming and has more facilities than we had time to use. Proximity to the shops makes getting milk and newspapers so convenient. What an amazing holiday home! We have had a wonderful week - coastal walks, wind-swept beaches and beautiful bays. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need for a happy holiday. We've had many a happy evening, chatting around the table and sitting in front of the fire in the cosy lounge. What a wonderful cottage and location, plenty of books and information in the cottage, it is a 15th century dwelling which after a recent conversion has lost none of it"s charm and history, a perfect location for the unspoilt Cornwall
