Another year and another fantastic visit. We always feel welcome and at home. There aren't many places where one can stay and enjoy its homely comforts time and again, except at Cosy Nook. And be greeted by a bundle of four legged energy, namely Tor, and his "elders". The welcome and hospitality proffered by Richard and Jackie and "the boys" is very much appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you all. How much bigger will Tor be when we return in September!! Nigel and Val Barks. Surrey. - Via in-property guestbook

As said so many times by previous guests, a wonderful welcome by Jackie and Richard. Suburb accommodation and beautiful Cornwall, what more could you want. Fingers crossed we'll be back. All the best to you both. Sylvia and Ken Plank. Poole Dorset. - Via in-property guestbook

28/04/2012 - Mr & Mrs Heaps - North Staffordshire

Thank you so much Jackie and Richard for allowing us to stay in your lovely and spottlesley clean cottage. Cosy Nook suits it down to the ground. Thank you for the friendly welcome especially the cake (yum-yum), and how nice to get a bowl of fresh fruit. We stayed in a caravan very close to here last Sept and this cottage must be one million times better. Hope to see you all including the dogs in the not too distant future. No doubt Tor will have grown considerably by then. Our only regret is we had to come two days later (23rd April) than we had planned. Mary & Ernie Heaps North Staffordshire. P.S. Sorry we didn't manage to eat all the fruit. - Via in-property guestbook

Cosy Nook - take 3! Thanks to one and all, and welcome Tor! Your many kindnesses and 'extras' (particularly the craft tuition) are much appriciated and we look forward to finding out what (if any!) changes you'll make before our next visit! Eileen and Carolyn. - Via in-property guestbook

We did leave a review in the visitor book but I feel it is also worth mentioning the suitability of this property for disabled guests. My Mother is unable to walk more than a couple of steps and Cosy Nook gave her the space and facilities to use her small indoor electric buggy to "drive" between and into the downstairs bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge. The independence this gave her was an absolute bonus for us all. There was also access to and around the lovely garden for a wheelchair.

09/04/2012 - Mr & Mrs Davies - West Coker Yeovil

Cosy Nook - exactly as the name states! A most warm and generous welcome and so many "extras" - delicious cake, fruit bowl, flowers and card as well as the less exciting but daily essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. Above all what a treat to have freshly home baked hot cross buns on Good Friday! Not just spotlessly clean but I believe the cleanest holiday rental we have ever stayed in - we have stayed in quite a number. We were staying with my disabled mother and the facilities were perfect for us. I felt that no request would be too much trouble. Thank you Jackie and Richard. Christine and Martyn Davies and Margaret Humphrey. - Via in-property guestbook

It can be a risk going back to somewhere you've really enjoyed - but not if that place is Cosy Nook, and Richard and Jackie are in charge! Our 2011 return visit has been every bit as good as 2010, and we are already planning for 2012 - - - please! Thank you once again for your hospitality and kindness - - and of course pergamano!!! Eileen and Carolyn. - Via in-property guestbook

Later than our normal visitation, but still one of the most enjoyable holidays. Hospitality still second to none. Bryher appears to be letting Heath seem "top dog" but he knows better! Last two days cleared any cobweb's we may have had but who worries about the weather when we are enjoying ourselves. Thank you once again Jackie (or is it Ann!!) and Richard for a super time. A lovely welcome with a delicious cake which went down very well. Jackie and Richard are lovely hosts. Cosy Nook is a fabulous place to stay. The views out of main bedroom window are fabulous with beautiful countryside and wonderfull seaviews. Jackie and Richard are really lovely people, very helpful and the little personal touches ie home made cake and card plus fruit and fresh flowers was a lovely thought. We stayed late september which was a lovely time, a short drive to lots of fabulous coves and more or less having the beach to ourselves was fantastic. loved everything about Cosy Nook, Richard&Jackie go out of there way too make sure everything is perfect, when we arrived there was fresh fruit and a lovely baked cake awaiting us. The house was spotlessly clean. The house commands great views of the sea and surrounding countryside and is just far enough from the village. We walked most evenings into the village, and enjoyed meals at the courtyard italian restauant in the village, which is very reasonably priced. We will be going back in 2009, Cosy Nook is without doubt the best holiday home we have ever stayed in! Karl&Lisa Coventry UK

A most lovely home away from home! The garden and grounds are beautiful, Jackie and Richard are friendly and helpdul beyond any of our expectations and the dogs are gentle and well-behaved and add just the right touch to a perfect place! We both hope to return here again one day. We couldn't have felt more at home anywhere else. This is a place where a loving touch and thought can be found 'growing' in every corner. We couldn't help but think that a postcard of your beautiful home and garden would be a special touch for all of us who come through. Mrs L Stonnell, USA

The house was spotless. Jackie has thought of everything, homemade cake, tea, coffee, milk, bowl of fruit, the list is endless. Lovely garden. Jackie and Richard were great hosts, we shall be back next year. Lisa and Karl, Coventry

A cosy and spotless house in a beautiful setting gave us a base for a magical week in Mullion, which evoked many memories of past holidays in the area. Jackie and Richard attended to every detail willingly and with friendly grace and well deserve all the superlatives to do with hospitality. Howard and Frances Muir, John and Sheila Torrance. Thank you
