I was suprised to see the last review for this cottage was in 2010. We stayed at Pedn-Tiere for a week in May 2012 and had a great time. The cottage is fantastic with great sea views, a massive garden, great DVD and games library and a very well equipped kitchen! The garden is enclosed and was great for the dog who loved chasing the ball around everyday! The Five Pilchards pub which serves lovely food (and welcomes dogs) can be seen from the bottom of the garden and the pebble beach is a short stroll down the hill. We would certainly recommend this cottage as a great base for exploring the Lizard Peninsula and relaxing and we would like to return in the future.
"This cottage is so perfect for a seasonal retreat; There's everything you need to use for getting things to eat! Sharp knives, utensils, pots and pans are all here, if you wish; To make yourself some lunch or cook a a fancy dish!! The cottage is so cosy its really hard to say; "Let's go out and explore the coast and stay out for the day"; It's so enticing just to sit, enjoying all the view - The ships, the birds, the stars at night - there's always something new!" We have spent a week at Pedn-Tiere in August for the last two years and have found the accommodation to be excellent. The views are spectacular and the cottage is very comfortable and well equiped. We have 2 kids 7 and 4 years old, they loved the gardens and are already asking to go back again next year!
This is a lovely property with beautiful views. It is very comfortable and equipped to a high standard. The garden is fully enclosed and great for dogs. I would recommend this property to holidaymakers.
We agree with "Cornish Cottages" that our stay would be five star! Every detail to make our holiday break comfortable has been considered. peaceful, wonderful views and hottest, sunniest week of the year! our Cairn Terrier really enjoyed the garden. This is the best equipped self catering property I have stayed in,and in a superb position, with a huge garden overlooking the cove.It was very clean and comfortable and an ideal base for touring the Lizard or just relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine!!!!Highly recommended if you are holidaying with your pooch as well.A real home from home,we had a great week there.
What a wonderful place to stay. The house was great. The views are spectacular. We had two wonderful weeks here with fantastic weather. We love 'The Lizard' area anyway but we will definitely come back to Pedn Tiere as we loved it here.Great to have all the information on the area here too. Sid and Nancy our collies loved the garden. We've had a fantastic week in Pedn tiere! Very comfortabl, well-equiped, and the view is beautiful. We loved Lizard peninsula and the whole area. There are so many things to see and do that we will have to come back .... - Via in-property guestbook
