Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, up above Porthallow Cove on the Lizard Peninsula. With sea views from the lounge area and garden down the valley out over Falmouth Bay to Pendennis Castle and St Mawes in the distance, Stable Cottage is only a ten minute walk to the pebble beach at Porthallow which marks the half-way point of the South West Coast Path, and the renowned Five Pilchards Inn.
Stable Cottage is a luxury barn conversion. Adjacent parking gives level access through the wide kitchen door into the open-plan living area which is floor-tiled throughout. The kitchen is very well-equipped with fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven with 4-ring hob and extractor over. A dining table and four chairs still leave plenty of room and a feeling of light and space is gained from the many windows and the high ceiling.
The bedroom has a 5' king-size bed with choice of summer or winter weight duvet. Bedside tables and lamps, separate chest of drawers and walk-in wardrobe, Freeview television and cordless phone. Double doors lead from the bedroom to the side patio area.
The modern bathroom is well designed, half tiled with matching bath, handbasin, with heated mirror and shaver point over, toilet and separate shower cubicle with powerful mixer shower.
The lounge is spacious with 2 x two-seater sofas, 32'' Hi-Def LCD TV, with Sky+ HD(including Sky Sports and Sky Movies), DVD player, flame effect electric fire, cordless telephone with free anytime calls to UK landlines, free WiFi broadband and iPod dock. Again, well lit with windows and double doors onto the patio area.
Outside there is a patio with garden furniture provided and a raised lawn area from where the best views of the bay can be found. Use of half-acre meadow gardens including bench seats and large pond. The cottage is conveniently placed for two public footpaths that pass close by.
Rental includes bedlinen, electricity, towels, and full underfloor central heating for out of season lets.
