Having met you on a walk from Porthallow to St Keverne a couple of years ago it is a pleasure to be here in Stable Cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed all the comforts you have provided. Your garden is now mature and truly beautiful. We have had good weather and have visited many lovely Cornish villages and particularly recommend Frenchman’s Creek at Helford. We hope to return. What can you say that hasn’t been said before? Many happy memories of our stay here including the Segway Experience at Goonhilly – we and our neighbours at Nanteague demonstrated that this is an achievement for all ages!! We highly recommend it. Also, we loved the food at the Five Pilchards, the chef works very hard and produces some great dishes. Thank you for your painstaking attention to detail throughout our stay, especially help beyond the call of duty in finding a dentist! We look forward to coming again soon. - Via in-property guestbook

Superb accommodation – best we’ve stayed in! This is our first visit and it won’t be the last! Thank you for being such friendly welcoming hosts. Also for recommending beautiful along Predannack cliffs to Mullion Cove. Weather has been lovely also. We had a wonderful week in early May 2009..... wonderful cottage, wonderful hosts, lovely location, beautiful gardens....... a new part of the peninsula to us, always having stayed on the west side before - now converted! Only one problem - having to go home!!

Best cottage we have stayed in. Excellent standards and everything thought of even down to tide times and weather forecast. Beautiful scenery and the colours and standard of the gardens are the icing on the cake. Two swallows came in through the living room doors to say hello (it could have been the same one twice!) and a robin hopped in to check us out. It was lovely to be woken by the peaceful birdsong each morning. Meals at the Five Pilchards Inn are very filling and good value. Thank you for the scones and chocolates and wonderful hospitality. Wow!! What can we add to the comments already made about this wonderful cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and everything has been above anything we could have hoped for! We have never stayed at such an exceptional property and had such wonderful hosts. The scrumptious scones were much appreciated after a long journey, as were the chocs! Our first stay but not our last! A great time had by us both, we were blessed with near perfect weather for the time of year and lots to see and do if you get the chance. A fantastic cottage for 2 with everything you need, in a fabulouse location for walking the coastal path - would recommend to anyone.
The best cottage in Cornwall, in the best setting and two wonderful hosts. You wont find better.
