'Pennti-an-Goelann' is an absolutely delightful little cottage, tucked off the main street in Porthleven. Just a two minute walk to the harbour side, with its fishing boats, cafes and galleries. Still a working harbour, you can see the fishermen unload their catch and even purchase fish from the quayside.

Entered into the lounge from the small front patio area. The cottage has loads of character, but is also contemporary in its furnishing with suite and oak wooden floor and a stone inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove for your use. The beamed ceilings throughout the ground floor also add warmth and character. TV/DVD with SKY freeview, also provided is an iPod dock. The kitchen is very well-equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric double oven and grill with hob and extractor over. The solid wooden surfaces give a beautiful feeling of quality. Also in the kitchen is a small dining table.

On the first floor are the bedrooms and shower room. Bedroom one has a king-size bed with bedside table and lamps, drawer unit with mirror over (hairdryer provided!) and a large built-in double wardrobe. Bedroom two is a twin room with two, 2'6" single beds (slightly narrower than a standard 3' single) bedside table and lamp and hanging space.

The shower room has a shower cubicle with electric shower, matching toilet and handbasin with shaver lamp over and a heated towel rail.

Outside there is parking for one car and a small sunny patio with garden furniture and a BBQ provided. Heating throughout is by electric storage radiators.

Rental includes bedlinen, electricity, towels and first supply of logs for the fire (more available locally). Parents are advised that there is no banister to the open side of the stairs although there is a handrail running up the wall side.

No smoking anywhere within the property.
