'Smugglers Cottage' is full of character, situated just 50 metres from the long stretch of golden sand at Porthleven. With sea views from the roof top patio, the pubs and shops of Porthleven just around the corner and the beach literally over the road, this makes an excellent holiday home for a couple or young family.
Entered into the tiled lobby area with seating and bookshelf, the en suite twin room just off. Having two, 3' single beds, bedside table and wardrobe. En suite shower room with shower cubicle toilet and handbasin.
Seven steps lead from the lobby to the lounge/kitchen area. With two-seater sofa, dining table and four chairs, TV/DVD, radio/CD/iPod dock and fully fitted kitchen having fridge, electric oven and ceramic hob with extractor over, microwave and washer/dryer. Off this room another five steps lead up to the double room (also en suite shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and handbasin) with double bed, bedside tables and a wardrobe.
The rooftop patio is accessed either from the lounge via a wooden staircase or from the double windows from the master bedroom. Either way it requires a little agility and care in order not to bang your head. The patio has table and chairs and railings all around, although young children should still be supervised.
Parking is available on road within 200 metres of the property, either on the quay or above the property on Peverell Terrace. Heating is by night storage heaters throughout with electric fire in the lounge in addition. Rental includes bedlinen, electricity and towels. Regret no pets and no smoking.
