After deciding on having a family holiday in England this year instead of going abroad we were looking forward in a traditional Cornish cottage near the sea. This property was perfect for us and our 2 children and in close proximity to the lovely beach and pretty harbour. The rooms were plenty big enough for us and the sea view was an added bonus especially first thing in the morning looking out with a cup of tea. The locals are very welcoming and friendly which was also very nice. We will be coming back. We will be back
We don't normally like to leave a review but wanted to let everyone know what a fantastic time we had at Surf Cottage, it's a fab place with beautiful views overlooking the sea. We were pleasantly suprised at how close the beach was to the property and also the local pubs which offer brilliant home-made food. The cottage itself was great and we are looking forward to coming back soon!
Have stayed at this property several times. Lovely place in a great location! Well decorated and comfortable, with easy access to the pretty harbour village with its pubs and restaurants. Good coast walk to Helzephron. Will be back!
I was pleasently surprised when I arrived at Surf Cottage and couldn"t believe how close it was to the beach and harbour. I stayed for a whole week and had plenty to do. The house itself is very nicely decorated and more than big enough for 4 people. I will definately be recommending this property and location to many of my friends and family.
Fairly well appointed - would be a bit of a sqeeze for 4 adults but fine for us. Sea view is partly restricted by another building but is still OK. Location is really good and a very pleasant and scenic stroll into Porthleven - also good access to coast walks
