Trevalza Cottage is an attractive and traditional 18th Century detached Cornish cob cottage. It is full of character and offers very comfortable accommodation with all modern conveniences. In an enviable position, set in its own secluded gardens from which you can enjoy views of the sea and surrounding countryside. It is situated just 100 metres from the interesting pebbly beach at Porthoustock, still used by local fishermen and popular with divers exploring ‘The Manacles’. The bustling village of St Keverne is about one mile away.
From the parking area a garden path leads down a few steps and around to the front porch which enters into a beautiful farmhouse kitchen. With its slate floors, beamed ceiling, Belfast sink and ornamental Cornish range to provide the character, it also benefits from an American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, double electric oven with ceramic hob with dining table and chairs for six people.
The large, delightful lounge also has a beamed ceiling and open fireplace, complemented by comfortable seating for four adults and two children, large LCD TV with DVD and Free-Sat and a selection of books and games. Stairs lead to the landing which the bedrooms and main bathroom are found.
Bedroom one is a double room with 4'6" bed, bedside table and lamp, modern handbasin with vanity cabinet over and a large drawer unit with mirror over. A large built-in cupboard on the landing provides shared hanging space, as well as each bedroom having hooks on the back of their doors. Bedroom two is a large twin room with two 3' single beds, bedside table and lamp, modern handbasin with vanity cupboard over and a window seat. Bedroom three has bunk beds (3' mattresses), a chest of drawers and a modern handbasin with vanity cupboard over. The decor and space in this room mean it is especially suitable and appealing for children.
The family bathroom has bath with electric shower over and matching handbasin with vanity cupboard and mirror over. There is a separate toilet and a washing machine on this level also.
Rental includes bedlinen, towels, electricity, central heating and an initial supply of logs for the fire (Oct to March). Off-road parking is available for up to three cars. Outside are garden furniture and a chiminea with BBQ attachment. The garden is uneven and steep in places with steps, young children should be supervised at all times. Regret no pets and no smoking in this property.
