A cosy and comfortable cottage with good facilities! Lovely views and good walks. Enjoyed returning home from a busy day at the beach, walking and surfing to play articulate with hot chocolate! Good food at the friendly local pub , The White Hart in St. Keverne, when not making use of the lovely kitchen. The Kitchen was well equipped, made cakes and scones! Many thanks for your largely complimentary comments which have been taken on board by the owners. Sorry if you were disturbed, but just to clarify for future residents that the quarry is only small and operated part time. A small ship does (very) occasionally load at the quay and this could be earlyish depending on the tide. Again - sorry if you were disturbed but this is not the 'norm'.
A lovely cottage with a good homely feel, large amount of crockery in the kitchen which was appreciated and nice to have a dishwasher. Although internet access would have been useful especially as it was impossible to get a telephone signal. It would have been nice to know however, that a working quarry was next to the beach and the noise from the loading of the ships was inconvenient at 7am.
The cottage is in an wonderful setting lovely grounds, brilliant views and so near the sea.It is very well stocked - there is nothing missing at all, the kitchen has absolutely everything you would find in your own kitchen. The road up to it is very narrow but provided you drive past and reverse in there is no problem.
