The Granary is a detached barn conversion situated in large secluded gardens, surrounded by fields and with distant sea views.

The original building dates back to the 1700’s and is set in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of Goonhilly Downs. A short car journey will take you to Kennack Sands, Mullion village, the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith and the market town of Helston. There is something for everyone in the vicinity. The area is a haven for hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, surfing, birdwatching and golfing or just relaxing in the fresh and unpolluted sea air.

On the ground floor of this spacious barn conversion is a large modern and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave and plenty of storage space. A large window overlooks the rear parking spaces and gardens.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious and beautiful sun/dining room, with a mixture  of new and old features; one side of this room displays the original stone walls of what was once a barn and the other is touched by modern times, with large glass windows overlooking the rear gardens. This room can easily seat eight around the oak dining room table and chairs.

The ground floor of the Granary also benefits from a good size twin room with bunk beds and a double bedroom with king-size four poster bed with a walk in wardrobe. There is a modern family bathroom, with free-standing bath, bidet and shower cubicle with electric shower and built-in hairdryer. The large master bedroom is also located on this floor and benefits from a good size modern en suite with a shower cubicle with mixer shower. This bedroom also benefits from large mirrored wardrobes running the width of the room and two double chests of drawers, creating plenty of space for hanging and storing clothes. It also comes complete with a 42” wall mounted TV with Freeview and DVD player.

On the first floor is the lounge, twin bedroom and sun terraces. The lounge features exposed oak beams, 50” plasma TV with Freeview, DVD player and comfortable seating for eight.  Double doors lead onto a large rear sun terrace with an outside dining table and chairs with views of the garden and countryside beyond. The front terrace has further seating and overlooks the front garden.

The garden has a large raised decking area, with a BBQ and outdoor seating for eight. It enjoys far-reaching country views across Goonhilly Downs and distant sea views.

There is extensive off-road parking for several cars. Electricity, gas, heating and bedlinen is included in the rental.  The Granary will accept one dog at £25 per week.
