266 - Carn Goon - Kynance

'Carn Goon' is situated on the coastal footpath at the beautiful Kynance Cove one of the most spectacular locations on the Lizard Peninsula. There are only two properties on Kynance downs which are surrounded by National Trust land. It is designated by English Nature as an area of special scientific interest and outstanding natural beauty. This is a walkers and bird watchers paradise! The property has amazing 180 degree panoramic sea views. This is truly a luxury beach house.

It is fully gas centrally heated and has solid oak floors throughout. On entering, the downstairs has a spacious entrance hall with payphone, leading onto utility area with a 10kg American style washer and dryer, (wonderful for drying beach towels ready for the next day at the beach), two bedrooms, two bathrooms and large living area.

There is a lovely open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen. The Lounge area with seating for seven offers TV, Video, DVD player, Sky, internet connection and music centre, all for your enjoyment. Open fireplace available for your use in the cooler months if desired (supplies for this are available at Kynance Garage). Dining area has an oak dining table with seating for eight and a beautifully equipped modern kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Downstairs bedroom one offers 3' single bed with the option of an additional 2'6" bed. This room has views out to the garden and sea beyond. Hall then leads onto the exceptionally large walk-in shower which can fit more than one person (very convenient when coming in from the beach to rinse off sand), large vanity unit and toilet. Bedroom two offers a king size bed, bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe. This room also benefits from a nautical themed en suite which offers a large bath, glass shower unit, toilet and handbasin.

Off the hall there are double doors with a narrow staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom which offers a king-size bed, bedside tables, lamps, wardrobe and TV. This room has a wonderful 10' balcony accessed through wide opening double doors with glass and mahogany handrail which lends itself to uninterrupted, breathtaking sea views even whilst lying in bed!!

Double French doors opening out onto the verandah with patio table and chairs, seating for six (extra large hardwood chairs) with a coffee table. The verandah has a roof so it can be enjoyed in any weather. Leading down from the decking is a garden with an old wishing well (with grill covering), cosy arbour seating and patio for your sunbeds. Next to the garden is an adjoining meadow ideal for the odd game of football as well as sunbathing.

Electricity, bedlinen and Internet connection are included in the rental. Off-road parking on gated drive for two cars. Payphone. Travel cot, high chair and pushchair are available inclusive of rental (if required).
