Perranwell, just 4 miles from Falmouth, boasts a fine pub with real ales and fine food, and a good local shop/post office. A short walk away is the historic Norway Inn with excellent restaurant. There is a choice of country lane, field walks and signposted byways from the doorstep, or if you prefer cycling, the Bissoe Cycle Trail which extends from Devoran on the south coast to Portreath on the north coast is nearby and cycles can be hired locally. Perranwell also has a branch line railway station with one small train which shuttles between the city of Truro and port of Falmouth, each a ten minute scenic ride away. You can enjoy a day exploring one of Cornwall’s picturesque branch lines, returning to Falmouth by river ferry.
