'Little An Skyber' is a quality barn conversion situated on what was once a working farm, on the edge of the picturesque wooded valley known as Gweek Drive. Half a mile from Mawgan village which has a shop/post office and pub, 1.5 miles from the creekside village of Gweek and five miles from the market town of Helston. For those that enjoy walking there are several footpaths to explore through the nearby woods and countryside.
This well planned and very comfortable centrally heated accommodation is ideal for out of season breaks. It is also attractively decorated with some exposed stonework. The dining/kitchen/lounge areas are on the left of the cottage on entering via the stable door while the spacious bedroom area is to the right. The fitted kitchen with quarry tiled floor includes electric oven/ hob and fridge, while the dining/lounge has table, chairs, sofa and colour TV. The pine bedroom area includes double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Separate shower room with shower cubicle and electric shower, toilet and handbasin.
Own garden area with garden furniture. Off-road parking adjacent to the property. Bedlinen, electricity and oil fired central heating are included in the rental. Provisions can be provided for you on arrival and use of the owner’s washing machine and tumble dryer for visitors staying for two weeks - by arrangement with the owner. You are requested to smoke outside please.
Thank you for letting us share your home for a fortnight. It was just as described and ideal for us. We loved it all. You thought of everything and we need not have bought so much with us. Thank you again for a wonderful Cornish holiday, even the weather wasn't all gloomy and wet.
