113 - Surf Cottage - Porthleven

'Surf Cottage' is a modern property situated in an ideal position for the beach and coastal footpath. A short walk will take you down to the busy working harbour of Porthleven, famous for its harbour front fish restaurants and if you wish you can purchase fresh fish from the quayside. The market town of Helston is two miles away and Penzance ten miles.

Approached via the front patio with sea views. The ground floor accommodation (sea views) is open-plan with the lounge/dining area having a settee, two easy chairs, TV/DVD, table and chairs and night storage heater. The kitchen area includes electric cooker and hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. The newly fitted bathroom is situated on the ground floor with bath and shower over, separate toilet and handbasin.

Open tread staircase off lounge to the bedrooms - Double bedroom with panoramic sea views, built-in wardrobe, dressing table and electric heater. Twin bedroom with pine 3' single beds, built-in wardrobe and electric heater.

Rental includes bedlinen, garage parking (see note) and garden furniture. Electricity by £1 meter (at standard EDF rates, allow approx. £10 depending on usage) NOTE: Garage parking - double garage with single sized up-and-over door, suitable for cars, but not some higher vehicles - On-road parking also available nearby.

fiona and ian on 12/09/2009		Have stayed at this property several times. Lovely place in a great location! Well decorated and comfortable, with easy access to the pretty harbour village with its pubs and restaurants. Good coast walk to Helzephron. Will be back!
James, Bristol on 02/09/2009		I was pleasently surprised when I arrived at Surf Cottage and couldn't believe how close it was to the beach and harbour. I stayed for a whole week and had plenty to do. The house itself is very nicely decorated and more than big enough for 4 people. I will definately be recommending this property and location to many of my friends and family.
surf cottage porthleven on 19/07/2009		Fairly well appointed - would be a bit of a sqeeze for 4 adults but fine for us. Sea view is partly restricted by another building but is still OK. Location is really good and a very pleasant and scenic stroll into Porthleven - also good access to coast walks
