Crantock beach forms part of the expanse of sand between Pentire and West Pentire headlands. At the south end of the beach are high cliffs providing some shelter from the wind. Hardly outside of Newquay this beach is a different world to all other Newquay beaches; handy for avoiding crowds in the summer months, whilst providing all the facilities of the main Newquay beaches.
