Towan Beach

Newquay

Towan Beach is at the heart of Newquay, at the bottom of a stteply sloping hill. The beach is bordered to the west by the harbour and the east by 'the island' a towering rocky outcrop.

The beaches at both Great Western and Tolcarne can be reached at low tide forming one extended sandy strip. The Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay is aslo right by the beach.

Parking is in the town with a 10 minute walk down a steep hill to the beach.
