The Heron Inn is set in the picturesque village of Malpas, two miles from the city centre of Truro.
The Heron overlooks the point where the Fal, Tresillian and Truro rivers meet, with views over to St Michael Penkevil, the Tregothnan Estate and Old Kea.
The surrounding area offers great walks, particularly the riverside walk from Malpas to the nearby village of St Clements and further along to the village of Tresillian. It is also an easy walk from Truro city centre taking approximately 40 minutes.
An excellent range of homemade, locally sourced dishes is cooked to order and on offer is always a wide selection of fresh fish, including Cornish crab. The Heron provides a wonderful terraced area that offers panoramic views of the river. During the summer the terrace is a suntrap and during winter months outside heating is provided so visitors can still sit and enjoy the stunning views or sit with their dogs.
The pub is open for morning drinks and offers a selection of snacks to enjoy with your coffee. Lunches and evening meals are served every day.
